Cell Lines In-House
The NIH Stem Cell Unit (SCU) has established a database to which hESC lines, adult stem cells and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells may be directly compared. These data give scientists the information they need when choosing individual cell lines for specific projects.
The NIH SCU has acquired the previously approved 21 available hESC lines listed from BresaGen, Inc.; ES Cell International; Technion-Israel Institute of Technology; the University of California, San Francisco; the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WiCell Research Institute); and Cellartis AB.
- Thawing Pluripotent Stem Cells
- Feeder-Dependent Culture of hESCs and hiPSCs
- Feeder-Free Culture of hESCs and hiPSCs
- Single-cell-based non-colony type monolayer culture (NCM) of hESC
