NIH Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Registry

Under prior presidential policy NIH created the Human Embryonic Stem Cell Registry, later renamed the Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Registry, to provide information on derivations of human pluripotent cells that were at the time eligible for federal funding. Sources of formerly eligible human embryonic cell lines are listed below.

Lines that were available for distribution under former Presidential Policy

• Human embryonic stem cell lines previously available from the National Stem Cell Bank
• Providers with at least one previously eligible human embryonic stem cell line available for shipping

Laboratories or companies that held previously eligible lines that were not available for distribution.
